With our wood burning stove we take any occasion we can to gather wood from a local clearing site. The smaller boys clip the small twigs and leaves from the branches and resist carry the lighter pieces, while my oldest chops the thin branches down to a size suitable for the stove. My hide drives the truck over with the boys, his chainsaw, a small ax, and bullcutters to chop wood whenever he can to stock up for the fire. My husband has always appreciated the hardworking obscene-collar folks of Bristol, saying he fits right in. He works indepedently in construction and when he is not at profession there are always a few projects at home that need completion. My son recently said to me, "Ya know mom, we are lucky to be kids ‘basis we get to play all day and grown ups have to work every day. They know to stay clear of the chainsaw.

Why is the Oregon :Legislature conspiring with the Oil companies to outlaw wood burning stoves and furnaces?

The State has approved a law banning wood stoves and furnaces to operate with no visible plume.

It is a rule much more that the state has for oil-burning furnaces.

I guess I passed legislation to protect forests.
I like the smell of wood, but I support all alternative ways of heating that does not pollute the environment. This brings me to the question of oil, do not think the oil is cleaner burning but the burning of oil, we can protect the forests.
