RI youth baseball league shuns metal bats for wood
The old-convenience life coaches love that old wooden bat. For years, the Rhode Island teams in the American Legion Baseball league -- the oldest nationwide prepubescence program -- played with aluminum bats that make the characteristic crack of America's competition sound more like a dull clang. But Rhode Island is once again playing with wood, one of at least three states nationwide where the American Legion has mandated a exchange from metal bats to the type used in Major League Baseball, in part to return the game to its purer origins. "There's a lot of nostalgia using all wood," said Jim Quinlan, federal program coordinator for the American Legion league, which was founded in 1925 and counts the likes of Yogi Berra, Tom Brokaw and Dick Cheney as alumni. The rift of the baseball bat is back.
What is the best way to clean old wooden cupboard doors?

My husband and I recently moved to a rental property that needs some TLC to get to a point where we feel comfortable with it. The kitchen is quite old and has closets around 3 decades ago. These wooden cabinets are old border around the outside of them, and at the bottom spots looks as if it has captured, food and soil for years. How do I remove this dirt and grime effectively?
Get a little lemon juice (U could use the lemon peel as a rag to put the mixture in the timber) or vinegar and baking soda ........ mixture of N2 paste ...... placed on the wooden doors ...... let them be washed with hot water ....... may have to repeat the process as they have been there for 3 decades, but it is effective, environment friendly, cheap and it works .........
