how do i use an aluminum brake to cover the exterior wood around the window?
I am replacing 3 windows, but I am installing larger windows in a small opening and want to know how to use aluminum brake?
I totally get the point. The brake only doubles aluminum parts to cover the wood around the window. Simply bend the aluminum to fit over the wood used to cover the nailing flange on the window.
Make sure the window is installed properly with the coat and pan flashing and his whole final wrap / aluminum joints around the shingle fashion to prevent water penetration.
