In today's dissipated-paced world, getting a knowledgeable repair person can be a challenge. Is the Simplicity Champion a good mower?
I have 2.5 hectares, the land fairly flat and I'm in need of a mower again. The simplicity mowers have really caught my attention, but I could find someone with many details about them.
I'm wanting to turn zero mower, but have a limited budget.

I had two Simplicitys. I cut 1.5 hectares with him. The first lasted 22 years. The new one is great. Added some improvements since my first lot. This is now five years and have not had any problems. One thing I like is the simplicity of my having the rollers on the rear deck so you can "gang" turf as they do on the baseball fields. Occasionally I try a new model, just for fun - makes mowing fun.
I have a Simplicity snowblower.I've had for 10 years without any problem except I had to replace the plastic strip on the bottom that is rubbed against the concrete, but it was cheap and kept in place with two nuts and bolts.
All are easy to work Simplicitys if you like DIY or need to change the oil or cleaning the deck, etc.
